This introductory webinar provides a comprehensive overview of Oregon’s Employment First initiative, which prioritizes competitive, integrated employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Led by the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS), this webinar explains the foundation of Employment First, including its history, goals, and the importance of person-centered planning. It highlights how employment services are coordinated across agencies like Vocational Rehabilitation and the Office of Developmental Disabilities Services.
